Mythology in Action #3 - Feb. 21, 2019

Mythology in Action #3 - Feb. 21, 2019
Maurice Turmel PhD - The Spiritual Psychologist

Why Mythology?

The idea that Myth belongs to another era and has no relevance today is simply false.  All myths were born in the heat of humanity’s various stages of awakening as these progressed across the centuries and within every culture living on earth since time immemorial.

Joseph Campbell charted this for us in his many works on the subject, showing clearly that mythology was the sine qua non of teaching tools before humanity had written records they could refer to.  These mythical tales were the world’s first Oral Traditions, where stories about who and what we are as human beings were passed down from generation to generation and can be found across all the world’s cultures.

My favourite resource from Joseph Campbell is “The Hero With a Thousand Faces” which best exemplifies this cross-generational, cross-cultural reality that’s been with mankind since the beginning.  The fact that we often use the word “myth” today as a synonym for a lie is absurd. The reality is that mythology, as described in his voluminous works, is alive and well today and shows up in books, movies and television on a regular basis.

If we’re going to understand the bigger picture of this current evolutionary process called Ascension, we need to see beyond the simple limitations of an individual’s life into the Cosmic program of Evolution as a whole.  We are in the throes of an evolutionary acceleration right now, brought on by a variety of significant factors, one of which is exemplified by the Schumann Resonance Factor which measures the rate of vibration of our planet as a whole.  In the 1950s when this frequency was first measured, it was established to be 7.8 hertz per second and stable at that number for years if not centuries. Since 2012 that frequency has been rising and spiking in the range of 30 to 50 hertz per second with some reports suggesting it is steadily moving higher. Simply put, Mother Earth is vibrating at a higher rate than her previous norm, and all of us aboard are being affected.

This begs the following question. Is it actually possible that such a program of accelerated change is being brought to an entire species of beings, groomed and ready for what some refer to as a bigger than life period of transformation?  “What if this is true?” is the question to be asked by all us humans as we come in touch with this possibility.  To see ourselves as part of this greater picture is to see the Whole Show which then contains snapshots of each other and outlining our part in the whole affair. This would  make our individual contributions to personal growth that much more important.  A lot to swallow, I know.

Mythology answers the question “Why are we here?”  It shows us our place in the grand scheme.  It opens us to the importance of every single life, like an organization of cells that came into being for a specified purpose. What is that purpose but the evolution of all of us as God’s Divine witnesses here on this Earth.  It is collaborative.  It is universal. It is Cosmic.  That’s how big this process is, this Universal Consciousness that is now coming together under the aegis of Ascension.

My book “Conscious Evolution - Mythology in Action” is an introduction to this concept, a place to start, a place to gather forces, personal strengths and awareness, in order to understand and do our part in this evolutionary process. If you Google “Conscious Evolution” you’ll see that many writers are tackling this subject.

The conception here is about more than self-help or personal growth.  This is Universal in its scope, in its administration, in its power to awaken and have people see themselves as part of this Cosmic Force.  Its a big deal!  Awakening to the truth of one’s soul purpose is a big deal, bigger than life itself.  It brings a whole new meaning to what is considered to be an individual’s Life Purpose.

When we ask that question today - “What is my Life Purpose?” - we are asking a Universal question of the ages, what every Hero and Heroine ask themselves at the beginning of their heroic journey.  Since all of humanity is on such a journey today, that question reverberates around the world and swoops people up in its power to arouse and awaken.

This is the power of myth - to inspire, arouse and awaken.  That’s what the characters in our novel “The Voice - A Training Manual for Souls” are finding out and that’s what we address in this non-fiction work titled “Conscious Evolution - Mythology in Action.”

For me understanding Mythology as a series of gifts received from our predecessors is a no-brainer.  Joseph Campbell showed us clearly how important that is. With that in mind we can see that evolution is no longer just a physical or psychological phenomenon but spiritual process which includes all aspects of being human. Once we grasp this as part of our human heritage and take the lead in our individual growth process we are engaged in Conscious Evolution.

Mythology In Action - Part 1

Mythology in Action #1 - Feb. 16, 2019
Maurice Turmel PhD - The Spiritual Psychologist

Before I delve into the subject matter of mythology and how it is addressed in my book “Conscious Evolution - Mythology in Action” I want to give you some background into how and why I became psychologist. These are tidbits that don’t show up in one’s customary bio which is designed to focus on the professional side of one’s work experience, rather than the personal experiences that brought one to make any particular career choice.

In the early 1970s I was going through a divorce.  I had two young daughters with my first wife when she advised me our marriage wasn’t working for her.  To be fair we were married quite young and neither one of us was really ready for the level of responsibility we had gotten ourselves into.  We had our troubles as most young couples do and she concluded it just wasn’t working for her.

I was devastated of course, not fully realizing what had gone wrong but appreciated the fact that I was also unhappy and we were moving in different directions.  However, at that early juncture I would have done anything to hang on to what we had out of sheer fear of the unknown.  But she was ready to go and I ultimately accepted that.  We worked out the details of child support, my visitation rights, along with division of assets and went our separate ways. It was painful and difficult, but in hindsight, all but inevitable.

Being single again was both a liberating and frightening experience for me.  I really didn’t know who I was or where I wanted to go with my life at this point.  As the months rolled past I got used to my new designation as a single part-time father, went back to college for some advanced training in my then profession as an electronics technician and found a new job as an audio-visual technician in a local high school. This was a fresh start which afforded me the opportunity to reflect on what was happening in my life.

In the back of my mind a simple question kept dogging me. “What had gone wrong in my marriage and what could I do to prevent a repeat of that failure?”  I was still experiencing anxiety and low self-esteem related to that loss and sought medical help.  My new doctor it turns out ran a therapy group for people going through life changing trauma, such as divorce or loss of confidence or general disorientation regarding one’s life purpose. I jumped on his offer to join in and attended those once a week group sessions for the next five years.

This is where my life really turned around.  I had stumbled upon a path that would not only help me understand my failed marriage, it would also help me “find myself” - a problem that I didn’t know I had. Books were recommended; seminars were suggested; a great variety of resources appeared before me as I discovered a world called Personal Growth and took to it like a duck to water.

I devoured all the personal growth books being recommended, found many others on my own based on author recommendations and even considered the idea that I might take some University courses to see if I could handle that. In the world I had come from I could not see this as a possibility, so low was my confidence in the area of academics.  But now, reading these books and watching the teaching staff at my new job take regular upgrading courses at the University level, I could see the possibility. I signed up for one course to test it out and did well.  As I studied the Psychology program I realized that was “my calling.”  One after the other I focused on the courses in that program, evenings, spring sessions and summers.

Within five years of part-time study I had the equivalent of a 3 year B.A. But I wanted more. So I applied for and received student loans, which allowed me to leave my job and do a 4th year Honors program which would qualify me for Graduate School.  After that, over the next 5 years, I completed both Masters and Doctoral programs in Psychology and went on to a career as a Psychotherapist.

This is an abbreviated version of these events, but what I want you to see, as I discovered for myself, was the radical change in tack for my life.  After going through the divorce I had no idea who I was or where I wanted to go with my life.  That trauma set me on a path where I consciously needed to find myself, to obtain focus and understanding, and to make necessary changes in my life so that my next relationship would have a better chance of success.  I met my current wife in Grad School and we’ve been together now for 38 years.

What does Mythology and Conscious Evolution have to do with any of this? Perhaps you can see it already but I’ll bring in my favourite reference to help illustrate. Mythology, and specifically, the Myth of the Hero, as detailed by Joseph Campbell in his book “The Hero with a Thousand Faces” paints a revealing picture.  The three main themes of the Hero’s Journey are: Separation, Initiation & Return.  I can readily see these themes at work in the above story.  Separation: going through the divorce, loss of self; Initiation: finding a path to self-understanding through personal growth work; and Return: full self-acceptance as the key to healing any and all psychological and emotional wounds with a dash of Spirituality thrown in.

We are each the Hero and Heroine of our personal life journey.  We are here to learn lessons and those lessons come at us in a variety of ways.  Initially we may feel like victims, and a lot of traumatized individuals get stuck here. But if we take responsibility for healing whatever has happened in our lives and ask the right questions such as: “Who am I? and Why am I here?” then we will engage the process of recovery and find our way Home. What is Home?  Home is where the Heart is and our Heart will tell us who we are and why we are here.  This is Conscious Evolution and what my book on the subject is all about, both as I understand it and have lived it.

Within the next week or so I will be offering my book “Conscious Evolution - Mythology in Action” as a no cost Kindle Book Promotion for a limited time. I will be posting that information here on the blog and in the Goodreads book giveaways section.  I’ll be looking for reader feedback and reviews of course. It is my hope that my life experience and the experiences of my many therapy clients that have culminated in the ideas presented here will be of help to many of you as well. There will be at least one or two more posts on this subject before the book giveaway is launched.  Stay tuned to this blog for more.

"RECEIVING"

Say It with Love
A Message to all on the Ascension Path
Maurice Turmel PhD & Higher Self - 12/17/2018

"RECEIVING"

"Receiving is a generous gift to ourselves.  Our Soul says "Open up and I will pour Love through you."  Love from God, it appears, which is abundant and most satisfying.

It is said that only animals and small children know how to receive.  It's a natural state for them, completely instinctual perhaps.  So what happens to us then on our way to adulthood?  How do we learn to shut out that ever flowing fountain from God the Creator?

Something happens when we become obsessed with "making it" by ourselves while trying to control the flow of good into our lives.  This is fear at work.  Fear says "you have to do it all by yourself."  Love says "Come back to Me and I will show you how to reopen that Heart."  So we can once again receive.  But now it has to be a choice.

Perhaps the lesson is this: we are naturally capable of receiving and enjoying the bounty that God and Life have to offer.  To deny ourselves these benefits we actually have to "learn" to close up.  And there is the essence of the "Fall."  We fall from God's grace into turmoil by believing that all suffering is bad and we must close ourselves off from these feelings in order to be safe.  Closed off from suffering means we are also closed off from our Source of supply as well.

Redemption comes through surrender.  By surrendering, that is, by opening up and releasing those so-called safety defences, we regain that capacity to receive.  Sure, we may still suffer at times.  In this Life there are losses and heartaches to grieve alongside receiving the good stuff.  Bitter and Sweet.  Only by accepting this and surrendering to God's grace do we return to that primal reality where all was blissful and without concern.

But now we are adults you see, and not children anymore.  And we know Life can be bittersweet in spite of that loving connection to the Great Creator.  We accept that reality at this juncture because we have grown.  We know what it's like to be without His love and we'd rather be in God's arms than not.  The suffering will pass - it always does.  But the reign the Love remains constant.  Reach out and grab some, won't you?  That's the Spirit!

The Wonderland of Grief and Loss

The Wonderland of Grief and Loss
Maurice Turmel PhD

The land of Grief and Loss is not a particularly favorable destination but one that we cross paths with on a regular basis throughout our lifetime.  We are rarely ready for this. In our culture, so much has gone into the Denial of Death that we find ourselves at a loss when the real thing comes along.

Let's take a closer look, shall we.

When a death occurs in our sphere of influence, we, the bereaved of the world, find ourselves in some kind of wonderland that we can't explain. This is a special place, an unusual place, outside the mainstream of our regular day to day existence.

We've been thrown into this land called Grief and Loss by the sudden and/or unexpected death of a loved one.  Unexpected here means unprepared, unwitting and most assuredly, unwanted.

We are lost and afraid.  We don't know our way around this territory.  It feels strange.  It feels almost Hollywood like in the same sense that it seems so surreal.

When we land here, unexpectedly, and usually suddenly, we are told by others what to expect, what could happen, and what one might feel under the circumstances.

At the funeral home there are people who travel this road regularly because its their business.  They usually look pale and sad, almost zombie like, because that's the nature of this environment.  The clothes they wear are as dark as the mood they convey. These caretakers of the dead and of us in grief know this journey all too well. They are always quite respectful of we, the uninitiated.  In their world, death and grieving are a straightforward circumstance that they see every day.

To all of us, now in the throes of grief, this death and dying business is an aberration, like falling off a cliff emotionally speaking, something we don't encounter on a regular basis, and therefore, alien to our usual life circumstances. The experience of death and grieving is also something we are often repelled by and dragged into kicking and screaming regardless that it is a mainstay of our collective destiny.

So here we are in this Wonderland called Grief and Loss feeling things we don't want to feel, experiencing emotions that are quite powerful and overwhelming and far outside our usual array of daily life experiences. We are forced by these circumstances to gather in places we don't want to be in, talk about emotions we don't want to discuss, while checking our watches to pinpoint the right moment for our exit.  We are face to face with a deceased loved one, a friend, a partner, a relationship that is now terminally broken.

We will never see this person again.  We will not speak with them, receive emails from them, or connect again in any fashion we had become used to over the course of our lives.  A big hole has opened up inside and it is filling with grief emotions we can't seem to control.

What do we do with ourselves now?  Initially at least we appear to sleepwalk through the process.  These are early days of grief and loss where the emotions are powerful and the mood is dark.  We are surrounded with mists of doubt, feelings of abandonment, self-admonishment perhaps – a whole host of pejoratives that we're busy conjuring up to try and make sense of this reality we now face.

Guilt, shame, sadness and weeping are all part of this process, this wonderland experience.  It is at such times where we find out things about ourselves we'd rather not admit to, things about the deceased we were never privy to, a whole host of revelations that might have remained buried were this person still with us now. The ground underneath us is shaking and continues to move.

Welcome to the Wonderland of Grief and Loss. This place is vastly different from your regular life circumstances and you shall remain here for some time to come.

Time heals all?  Not True!

Time heals if we do the work of acknowledging our feelings and working through them. These powerful emotions are extremes in the feeling range of life and they are upon us like a large dark cloud which has settled in for some time to come, whatever may be the duration of this process.

These extremes of emotional experiencing will pass eventually because all healing processes have beginnings and endings that are somewhat predictable.  As the grieving work is accomplished the dark cloud eventually breaks up and then dissipates.  This is the Wonderland of Grief and Loss.

Your stay in this valley of experience may be brief or long, depending on whom was lost and your attachment to that individual. Such events are always memorable even when filed away in the psychological closets we prefer not to visit. For those open to the experience and willing to embrace what needs to be done, there are lessons here that can deliver growth experiences unattainable anywhere else.

For those of you willing to do the work, make sure you say your prayers, whatever they may be and ask for the guidance and support you truly deserve. That will be forthcoming in whatever form suits you best.

Talk about the loss with your friends.  See a therapist if that's required. Join a grief recovery group. Give yourself every benefit that's readily available.  And this too shall pass. You will survive and you'll grow stronger as a result of having done the work.

That's the message here, dear friends.  The work has to be done or you will drag these ill effects with you far into the future, tainting every aspect of your life experience with this unattended sadness and remorse that simply begs for acknowledgment and release.

If you're still feeling stuck, ask yourself this:

“What would my deceased family member / loved one want for me in this circumstance? How would they want me to proceed?"  Or, if the tables were turned and you were looking at them while they were grieving you, what would you urge them to do for themselves?  Then govern yourself accordingly.

Its an alien place at first, this Wonderland of Grief and Loss – but only at first. Soon we realize that this experience  comes and goes like the seasons and we will pass here many times throughout our life journey before we come to our own final goodbye.

Give yourself what you need and you'll manage it all quite well. Then you'll be surprised at how quickly the grieving recedes once you've undertaken the healing process as a whole.  The smiles will be back.  The joy of living will return. Even your lost loved one will come to be viewed as an asset in the winding journey of your life, a person now easily called to memory with fondness and love. Win Win!

Your Spiritual Journey Podcast - "Occupy Your Heart"

Your Spiritual Journey Episode 2 - "Occupy Your Heart"
Maurice Turmel PhD

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/yourspiritualjourney/2015/05/28/occupy-your-heart--your-spiritual-journey

Physical journeys begin and end but not so with Spirituality. Spiritual journeys are ongoing and take us from one dimension to another in an ever ascending cycle.

We're not here to waste our time, to be victimized or sidelined by the circumstances that befall us.  We're here to get it together and find our way Home. Home is where the heart is and that's where we live once that connection is made.

This episode of Your Spiritual Journey is about connecting with that heart-space - your feeling center. It is where we feel that we live, not where we think. Thinking about our feelings comes after we've accepted them and identified what they mean to us. Without that step there's no getting around to where we actually live.

Then we're on the wheel of karma perpetually falling into one trap or another, traps that we created, to keep us feeling victimized and afraid. Its through self-responsibility that we break this cycle and find our way back to center.
Getting off that wheel requires us to connect with our heart. Every psychotherapist worth his/her salt knows this to be true. Guiding people back to where they "live" - that is where they "feel" - is what happens in the consulting room every day.

Only by owning and feeling those feelings then allowing ourselves to express them safely can we ever be free of that self-perpetuating karmic cycle.

So, Occupy Your Heart and you will find your way Home.

New Age Spiritual Rockin Blues

New Age Spiritual Rockin Blues

Maurice Turmel PhD

New Age Spiritual Rockin Blues is music that touches the soul and awakens the heart while offering a contemporary modern feel. This type of Spiritual Inspiration Music moves through our Heart while guiding us to Love, Growth and a direct connection to the Divine within. Because this music touches the Heart, it stirs within us the deeper truth of whom and what we are and our purpose here on Planet Earth. We release our resistances when confronted with music that moves us at that deep emotional level. The Blues style has always been associated with Heart and Soul, because it came from the Black experience in the Southern US and was about healing the pain and suffering those repressed Americans experienced as they attempted to move from their slave status to some form of equality with their white counterparts.

It is a documented fact that Blues style music was taken up by white Americans in the 50s as the then dominant White Music Industry clearly recognized its power to move and engage people. Despite the fact that the White music industry chose to sanitize it for mass audience consumption, the approach still carried enough of that Blues flavor to excite and animate a new population of post war children. That’s when Rock and Roll (a phrase coined by Black artists in the 40s) became a mantra for a new generation, the one I grew up with, as have most North Americans in today’s over 55 population.

My songs, which are served up in this Rockin Blues fashion, come from my heart and, I believe, the Great Beyond, where New Age Spiritual Music resides. I also feel that my music comes from the very same place, emotionally speaking, that was charted by Jerry Lee Lewis, Fats Domino, The Platters, and oh yes, Elvis, to name a few. It is this Rockin Blues Beat that I've borrowed to create the musical foundation for the messages I receive daily from my Guidance. Through my Heart and Feeling Centre is how my Higher Self encourages me to express myself poetically and through music. This is my Source of Inner Truth and what I rely on to take me through life as my contribution to this Shifting Age in human history. Who would have thought that I would be creating such music at this point in my life, now in my mid 60s? Certainly not I.

I can also assert that New Age Spiritual Rockin Blues and Psychological Development go hand in hand. They have been part of my life for over 5 decades, as the marriage of 10 years training for a PhD in Counseling Psychology and a lifelong passion for music. I recognize that these two components rely on each other to teach us about ourselves through our emotional responses. At first we are drawn in with the beat. Once we surrender to this soulful vibration, the message in the lyrics makes its way to our heart and feeling center. Because we have opened up, we can receive the song's deeper message. As we are touched, moved and swept along, we are now in a position to change our lives for the better. It is true that a lot of current music is about Anarchy and Devolution, but that is not the case with New Age Spiritual Rockin Blues. This music lifts us up. And as one recognizes the lyrical message supports the truth of one’s soul, it puts us in touch with the Divine within.

Musical vibrations engage us at a cellular level and help us open to our deepest Self. They help us feel our lives and our connection to Source at this core level of being. By following their vibrational call, they help us identify what is ours to bear, in terms of life challenges and wounds to heal, while ultimately preparing us for a life of service. New Age Spiritual Music makes it easier for us to surrender to our Inner Truth and hear our personal Guidance.

Personal and Spiritual growth is all there is you see, and Spiritual Rockin Blues can help you grow to your fullest potential. If these sounds truly resonate with your inner being then nothing can excite you more than music with a beat that is a symbol to your Soul. This music, for me, is a symbol of God’s Love that generates feelings of Gratitude, Expansion and Growth within. This Call to Awakening then presents us with the opportunity of advancing ourselves through our innermost passions and abilities. “Follow Your Bliss” Joseph Campbell has advised.

Here we can speak of Musical Bliss, which is music's power to open us up. By seeking out such music, we align ourselves with our highest vibrations. These then provide us with a view of ourselves from a different perspective, a higher perspective I would suggest. Such a view can be awesome, stupendous, and even scary - because through such a view can we see ourselves soar beyond limits imposed by our society. This brings us back to the revolutionary nature of this music, how it was born in the 40s and 50s via the Black American experience, only to be taken up by White North American kids gearing up for a revolution of their own.

When we add to this Rock’n Roll revolution the sound of a Reggae Beat, then we see another parallel to the suffering that Black American Blues showed us, but this time in the lives of repressed Jamaicans. I was introduced to Reggae in 1965 when visiting Jamaica as a young 20 year old with the Canadian Navy. It was the sounds and lyrics of Bob Marley and company that grabbed my attention then and I have been a devotee every since.

Alongside the new crop of White American Rock’n Roll Stars, there emerged another group of artists ready to blend this blues and reggae music and acknowledge their depth and feel. This was the British Invasion of the 60s and 70s, with bands such as Cream, The Rolling Stones, The Animals and The Police as examples. There were also some great White North American Blues Artists that helped bring  this music forward, (e.g. Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Jake Eells Blues Band and Dutch Mason Blues Band), but they never became mainstream like the British Rockers did.

New Age Spiritual Inspiration Music with a Rockin / Blues / Reggae feel is the path I have chosen to follow. When you listen to my songs you will also hear traces of American Country Rock like the Eagles, 1950s Country Artists such as Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash, cowboy artists like The Sons of the Pioneers and Gene Autry, and the late great Hank Williams Sr who screamed “achy breaky heart” long before Billy Rae Cyrus. This is the musical soup I have been steeped in and the foundation upon which I have grown my musical compositions as I tied them to my psychology training, professional clinical experience and personal spiritual growth efforts.

Am I a New Age Artist? Yes to that! Can I be considered a Christian artist? Some would say yes. Personally, I resonate more with Native Spirituality and their reference to The Great Creator who animates all life, including ourselves. However, there is no excluding how the Word of God presents itself to me through this music, be it Native Spirituality, Christian flavored, New Age Rockin Blues, Reggae influenced or other. I celebrate Life from the inside out and in many respects this music becomes a prayer from my Soul to God's Heart. I invite you to judge for yourself. Have a listen and tell me how you feel. The proof is in the pudding as they say, so dig in!

A Lightworker's Prayer

Let Your Feelings Be Your Guide

Maurice Turmel PhD

The light of all eternity shines with me now

My feelings light up my life

How I find my way is determined by them

They illumine my path and show me who I am

When I was young, I felt so many things

Then came the day when I could not stand the pain

My world was chaos then, filled with sorrow and grief

So I closed up to protect that fragile Self within

Years would go by before I could open again

I was forced to by circumstances beyond my control

Life dealt me blows which I later recognized as my own

To awaken me to that sorrow deep within my Soul

I worked hard to find my way back to the Light

To that place within where I could feel once again

There my Heart shone forth with a brave face

And shed light on all that I had concealed

Now I see how I closed that tender-hearted Self

How I froze in the face of my destiny

Troubles swirled around as a constant source of grief

And I fell to sleep out of fear

I am awakening now to the deep void within

Where I’ve stored all those troubles and pain

I fight my way back to that center once again

So I can come forth completely and be true

My life moves forward as of this day

When I committed to finding my true Self

I’ve engaged all manner of demons on this journey

To return to that Source deep inside

I wish for life to fill me now and bring all it can

I am thirsty for experience and for growth

I want lavish riches from my Soul to fill me

So that I can truly enjoy all that I behold

This work is sometimes difficult as I have learned

But no more than any task requiring Love

This journey enriches me with its purpose

And fills me with Life and Soul

This is my gift to myself, my own holy Soul

To have, to hold and to behold

This Heart that bled is now healing its wounds

And can prosper again from what Life brings

Let there never be a return to where hurts cramp me up

And fill me with bitterness and pain

I am awake now, yes, and can move ahead

To appreciate all that Life has assigned

Oh glory to you, my Sweet Soul, for coming this day

I thank you from the bottom of my Heart

We two can sing together the praises of Love

That take us forward on this journey through time

Never let it be said that one so deserving

Could not find his or her way Home

All whom will follow shall see this Light in turn

And know that their journey can be won

I take you with me now, my Sweet Soul

For you are here in my hands

Where I can behold you

And together, we can be so bold

“Move on,” you say to me. “Move on, my love

The Light wishes for us to do so”

And my Heart sings with the possibilities

So that “Yes” is the answer I can render with ease

My Heart is filled with Love and joy in this moment

Knowing that I am with you, my Soul

My feelings tell me you are there and always were

Till that sleep came over me earlier on

By awakening to your touch do I know You

And find my own truth there in your eyes

You show me through Love what my purpose can be

I am inspired by this attentive design

I am pleased we are here together, in this life

I am pleased that our love is so strong

For now I can reach you, my Sweet Soul Sublime

When you call to me from deep within my Heart

I have your answer Dear, and know this to be true
